This stunner is a vintage Fernalla’s Jools NYC 1980s bangle – an enamel resin clamper bangle embedded with costume jewels and decorations.
Fernella’s Jools NYC was founded in the 1980s by Shelley Goodman. Her designs were very popular in fashion boutiques throughout the 80s. Fernella’s Jools were available in Nordstrom nationally, and Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s in New York City. Fernalla’s Jools was commissioned by fashion label Esprit to make a special collection for their stores and catalogues, and her designs were were worn by the ‘Queen of Disco’, singer Donna Summer.
The bangle is a clamper style that opens wide and snaps closed on the wrists. A Fernella’s Jools NYC sticker sits on the inside.
