A rare find is this absolutely spectacular silk shift vintage 1960s Colin Glascoe dress. 1960s British designer, Colin Glascoe, was considered England’s answer to Emilio Pucci. Glascoe regularly used Liberty of London fabrics in his designs although he never acknowledged this in his adverts which apparently annoyed the famous fabric house. The tailoring here is brilliant and the dress, fully lined in dusty pink, is premium quality and has truly stood the test of time. The silk fabric has Art Nouveau-inspired swirls and designs in dreamy aqua, mint, caramel and mauve tones. The dress has a zipper up the back and the rolled collar fastens with two hook-and-eye catches. The dress is tagged a vintage size 10 but will fit a modern-day size 6 or 8 (please see measurements below).
