Welcome to The Goodtime Hotel
Miami Beach, Florida is home to a new hotel, The Goodtime Hotel – a joint endeavour between David Grutman and Pharrell Williams.
Located on South Beach, the 266-room property takes its design cues from the Art Deco period. Together, Grutman and Williams worked alongside real estate developers Michael D. Fascitelli and Eric Birnbaum of Imperial Companies who developed the corner block.

Architect Morris Adjmi, designer Ken Fulk and landscape architect Raymond Jungles created a unique marquee concept in Miami Beach. The goal for The Goodtime Hotel was to promote an active, balanced lifestyle with a happy vibe and feeling of escapism.

The hotel sits on an historic section of South Beach along well-known Washington Avenue. The design includes a corrugated facade, airy atrium entryway, hand-painted hothouse murals and Deco plasterwork that hints at the nostalgia of the past.

Each guest room features custom bedding, bespoke drapes, leopard-print benches and – wait for it – a pink rotary dial phone!

Guests can sip on cocktails and casual Mediterranean fare at Grutman’s Strawberry Moon restaurant and pool club. Here, Ken Fulk’s design concept is inspired by mid-century Caribbean and Central American resort towns (such as Havana and Acapulco in their heyday).
